Public Works will endeavor to maintain the normal time schedule on these dates, however, residents are requested to assist us by placing their garbage curbside by 8:30 am.
GARBAGE DISPOSAL BYLAW NO. 1083
The District of Mackenzie would like to remind all residents to please adhere to the garbage disposal bylaw. "Garbage" does not include grass, trees, hedge clippings or other garden refuse. Containers must be kept in good repair with a lid and handles and must not weigh in excess of 60 pounds including the garbage. There is a 4 container limit per single family dwelling. Plastic container liners must be tightly tied and undamaged prior to being collected. Grocery bags and cardboard boxes are
unacceptable containers.
